I just completed the Nevada Bar Examination. It was a tough 4.5 years to get my JD degree (while working full time) and the 3-day test was grueling. I felt elated, however, when the final bell sounded.
Wanted to invite comments regarding Nevada, or any other state's Bar Examination.
Nevada BAR EXAM - comments?
Hey I took that exam also and am still a little tired. I feel like I should be studying or something...
Anyway, that test was emminently fair as far as the written portion was concerned. I always wish I had more time since I tend to write a lot...though the MPT is the one essay that you can go on and on with. I found myself wanting to say more yet typing almost the entire hour for most of the essays.
The MBE was tough I think if you took a certain bar review course. That course had "advanced" level questions that did not at all match the even harder actual MBE questions. Other bar takers had the same experience at least with that particular course. Can't say I feel that I got the "benefit of the bargain" from that course as far as the MBE. And, I used that course before to pass a few other bar exams around the country and it appears the MBE has changed and the course maybe hasn't (just an opinion).
I wish they gave out MBE answers right after the test since I find myself reviewing in my mind the questions and looking them up still to see if I got them right....is there such a blog??? How about essay review blogs?? Some of those essays had a ton of issues...some had a few like corporations (piercing the corp veil., alter ego, promoter liab., de facto corp., shareholder liab. suit., etc...)

Thanks for the rating. I haven't been able to find sites on topic. I suppose most of us get tired of thinking to start a blog on MBE questions.
Still remember the essays enough to discuss however...
Disney? I have to study for the MPRE... :( Report It
Nevada BAR EXAM - comments?
Although I've never taken a bar exam (and never will!) I just want to say to you....Congratulations!!
My husband took the bar exam in MN last summer. I was a law school "widow" for several years (law school took the majority of his time) and I never saw him when he was studying for the bar.
Now the worst part is waiting for the results, eh?
My hubby also worked full-time during his first 3 years of law school. The first three years he went to weekend law school and his final year he was a full-time student and didn't work. The craziest things would always happen during his finals....car broke down on the way to finals, we'd have relatives show up and NOT LEAVE, or the kids and I would have silly freak accidents that required emergency room visits.
My sis in law also went to law school and took the bar in MN too. They both passed but I remember very clearly how stressed both of them were.
Good luck and enjoy your downtime!
