Why on yahoo answers some people are so negative with there comments???

every time i ask a question i get a negative,or some negativ comments.Im sick of this shi* . all they have to do is say something nice and respectful,but instead they talk there shi*. but not everybody there are an awful big amount of people that give me greeeeat answers,and comments??!!

because they are just here to be nasty and report people etc,they are not here to help people and contribute to the community

its the same in life,there will always be lowlifes where ever you are....just ignore them

It just takes all kinds. There are those who report people where there are no violations. There are people who are rude or mocking. There are people who nice and people who are helpful. Not much different than life in general, I guess. I think levels of maturity could have a lot to do with it too. If only people would just answer questions they can answer honestly, and stay away from the questions they don't like and don't have anything to say but something rude.

I know, every single question I ask, I'll get either a "lincoln pakr sux11111" type comment, or some person asking me why I asked the question, or some person preaching about their religion. I guess people are just negative. I'm very negative, I'm an eternal pessimist, but I try not to let that affect other people.

It's an anonymous public forum, and people can say whatever they want.

Honestly, compared to other websites, Yahoo Answers isn't even that negative.

I don't know you, but I assume that you answer questions as best as you can and try to help people. Maybe you would be happier if you concentrated on the good stuff here. And there is a lot of good stuff.

Negative comments come from people who are not happy. Don't let yourself get sucked in. It's so not worth it.

I can think of several reasons why answers might be negative or mean - the answerer is wasted and thinks it's funny, the answerer is pathetic and thinks it will make him/her feel better, or someone has taken offense at a question you asked or an answer you gave and is not handling it well.

Whatever the reason for their action, your reaction should be the same: report them. According to the Y!A Community Guidelines, answers which are mean, abusive, insulting, ranting or venting are unacceptable. Helping to police the site is part of your responsibility as a member here. If you don't do something about it, it will just keep happening.

Because instead of acting mature they have to talk big and act big but behind the computer there just some dorkey nerd trying to be cool!
