Personally, while Rev. Wright's comments are concerning it proves Obama isn't a Muslim. As for those of you who thought Obama was a Muslim, are you now convinced that he is NOT a Muslim?
Anyway, I'm looking forward to see what Obama will say about all this... Regardless, I will continue to support Senator Obama.
Do you think Rev. Wright's comments prove that Obama is not a muslim.?
No - the fact that Obama says he isn't a muslim is proof that he isn't one. And who cares if he is or not? This country is based on freedom of religion.
Do you think Rev. Wright's comments prove that Obama is not a muslim.?
Never thought he was a Muslim
Obama calls his pastor his MENTOR
Obama and his wife were married by this guy
this guy baptized Obama's children
Obama titled one of his books after this pastor's sermon
Obama prayed and couseled with this guy before he announced his running for the presidency....
This guy is more than a figurehead that Obama listens to once a week...he is Obama's MENTOR
Do you think Rev. Wright's comments prove that Obama is not a muslim.?
his comments prove he is a fool.
Do you think Rev. Wright's comments prove that Obama is not a muslim.?
Why has Rev,Wright suddenly become the most important person in US politics?
Do you think Rev. Wright's comments prove that Obama is not a muslim.?
Obama is not his pastors keeper,
I'm still supporting Obama
Do you think Rev. Wright's comments prove that Obama is not a muslim.?
Hell no, the learned pastor has screwed up and now he's trying to cover up. He's like Obama, will now say and do anything to get Obama elected.
Do you think Rev. Wright's comments prove that Obama is not a muslim.?
Not when Wright gave a Lifetime Achievement Award to Louis Farrakhan.
Actually from what I'm seeing on YouTube, there is no evidence that Wright is even Christian to begin with.
Do you think Rev. Wright's comments prove that Obama is not a muslim.?
I am convinced he is not a Muslim, not because of Rev. Wright.
Do you think Rev. Wright's comments prove that Obama is not a muslim.?
You said:
"Regardless, I will continue to support Senator Obama."
Even if he says "I've been fooling white voters all along, I just want power and I want to re-introduce reperations and take away half of the income all white's and latino's in order to fund it"?
Do you think Rev. Wright's comments prove that Obama is not a muslim.?
funny huh..
He already has spoken about this my friend. He doesnt agree. Just like I dont agree with everything my 70 year old grandma thinks but she is still my mentor in life.
blessings!
Obama 08
Do you think Rev. Wright's comments prove that Obama is not a muslim.?
yes it was great!
to see the Clinton's pull the media strings and make them dance...and make you dance too...
wait what was the question....
Do you think Rev. Wright's comments prove that Obama is not a muslim.?
I never thought he was a Muslim. Reverend Wright's sermons that Barack attended for twenty years are clearly Anti-White, clearly. Do you think Barack just sat there and didn't join in with the "Amens" and all of the vocalization. I think not. He has a very serious problem right now.
Do you think Rev. Wright's comments prove that Obama is not a muslim.?
This brand of "christianity" is very close to what black muslims preach ... It's why Wright hero worships Farrakhan
Do you think Rev. Wright's comments prove that Obama is not a muslim.?
why would you support someone who's mentor, is someone that follows and respects racist views towards whites and Jews?! Most people take a lot into consideration what these mentors tell you through your whole life..especially going to that same person for 20 years?! when are the Obama supporters going to wake up and smell the coffee..especially his white supporters! He has denounced the Islam guy but has NOT denounced his pastor! FGS people...if this was a white man and his pastor had ties..omg..he would never be elected..!
Why would you continue to go back to this church?!

I love how these commentors say that it was 7 years ago.. try last december! get your facts straght obama lovers..!
Do you think Rev. Wright's comments prove that Obama is not a muslim.?
The Muslim question is a dodge. Anti-Obama people will never give up the attacks no matter how specious.
Of course, McCain has his own issues explaining his ties to radical pastor John Hagee. Hagee is anti-Catholic, homophobic, and xenophobic.

Do you think Rev. Wright's comments prove that Obama is not a muslim.?
But Obama has long maintained he is at odds with some of Wright's sermons, and has likened him to an "old uncle" who sometimes will say things he doesn't agree with. He has also specifically denounced Wright's 9/11 comments.
An Obama campaign spokesman also said Thursday the Illinois senator "deplores divisive statements whether they come from his supporters, the supporters of his opponent, talk radio, or anywhere else."
Do you think Rev. Wright's comments prove that Obama is not a muslim.?
It just proves he is an idiot for following the supposed Rev. Now, you have to ask yourself...do I really want to vote for a man whos spritual advisor spoke that vile crap?
Do you think Rev. Wright's comments prove that Obama is not a muslim.?
I never thought Obama was a Muslim. However, I would definitely look for a new reverand. Rev. Wright's comments were not from Obama's mouth and hopefully everyone will see this. I was a Hillary supporter and over the past month and 1/2, I've changed. I didn't vote in the primary because I couldn't make up my mind then. Now I think I'm clear cut on my decision.
Do you think Rev. Wright's comments prove that Obama is not a muslim.?
obama proved that he wasn't a muslim a long time ago.
the retired rev. wright has been preaching for a long, long time. and for years now, he and his church have offered tapes of his sermons.
in this lastest smear campaigan against obama, many of these tapes were purchased. however, the attackers only chose to show a few comments made by the pastor.
it is a christian church. i wonder why no one is bothering to show the good reverend preaching from the Bible?
i wonder why no one is bothering to show rev. wright preaching about God?
because it is just another dirty trick pulled out of hillary's campaign bag. she needed to do something to get the focus off geraldine's idiotic, racist comments.
and what better way to do that than to use the divide and conquer tactic? the blacks vs. whites tactic?
that's why hillary will never be president. she is the most polarizing person to ever run for the oval office and who needs a person who thinks she can thrive on dividing a nation for her own agenda?
Do you think Rev. Wright's comments prove that Obama is not a muslim.?
You continue to support a man that his minister and mentor says "God Damn America". Obama has been listening to this man for 20 years, spewing hate for whites, and america. If your conscious allows it, you go right ahead. Personally I say "God Bless America" and all the lives that were lost defending it's freedom.
Do you think Rev. Wright's comments prove that Obama is not a muslim.?
well he sounds like the black muslims and the black hebrews...

Do you think Rev. Wright's comments prove that Obama is not a muslim.?
The way I see it is either :
A. He is a Muslim who attends church to for political reasons.
B. He attends [this] Church because he believes in it's principals.
Do you think Rev. Wright's comments prove that Obama is not a muslim.?
The so called Reverend Jeremiah Wright is Muslim posing as a Christian.why would Barack Hussein Obamas Church give a award to Farrakan, the Leader of the Black Muslim Religion he spews Hate, Just like Rev.Jeremiah Wright.
Do you think Rev. Wright's comments prove that Obama is not a muslim.?
The question is STILL there, even more so. Obama didn't become a "Christian" until 1988 or 1991. The church that "inspired" him was a racist seperatist church. The man that "baptised" him is a racist, he calls him his mentor, role model and spiritual leader for the past 20 years.
The Rev gave an award to Louis Farrakhan who also hates white America. The churches' first love is their motherland, Africa. The pastor calls Amerikkka the cause for 9/11. And the white America that fed AIDS to Africa.
This man is all hate and nothing Christian about him. Obama being half white said some racist stuff in his books that he wrote after joining this church. And he stayed there for 20 years and raised his girls in it.
Must we forget who his heros are. Most of them are Nation of Islam members
Do you think Rev. Wright's comments prove that Obama is not a muslim.?
He is a racist. Want something worse than that??
Do you think Rev. Wright's comments prove that Obama is not a muslim.?
Rev. Wright announced his retirement a year ago.
Obama said a year ago he didn't agree with Wright.
This is old news from speeches on old video tapes.

Some kids on Y/A never do their own research. They listen to Rush Limbaugh, Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity far too much as evidenced by their parroting word-for-word what these bozos say on-air.

Seven year old comments by Wright, taken out of context, are not an issue except to the few desperate mud slingers with nothing to throw.

Dear Jodi:
Thank you for engaging in one of the biggest misrepresentations of the truth I have ever seen in sixty-five years. You sat and shared with me for two hours. You told me you were doing a 閳ユ藩piritual Biography閳?of Senator Barack Obama. For two hours, I shared with you how I thought he was the most principled individual in public service that I have ever met.
For two hours, I talked with you about how idealistic he was. For two hours I shared with you what a genuine human being he was. I told you how incredible he was as a man who was an African American in public service, and as a man who refused to announce his candidacy for President until Carol Moseley Braun indicated one way or the other whether or not she was going to run.
I told you what a dreamer he was. I told you how idealistic he was. We talked about how refreshing it would be for someone who knew about Islam to be in the Oval Office. Your own question to me was, Didn閳ユ獩 I think it would be incredible to have somebody in the Oval Office who not only knew about Muslims, but had living and breathing Muslims in his own family? I told you how important it would be to have a man who not only knew the difference between Shiites and Sunnis prior to 9/11/01 in the Oval Office, but also how important it would be to have a man who knew what Sufism was; a man who understood that there were different branches of Judaism; a man who knew the difference between Hasidic Jews, Orthodox Jews, Conservative Jews and Reformed Jews; and a man who was a devout Christian, but who did not prejudge others because they believed something other than what he believed.
I talked about how rare it was to meet a man whose Christianity was not just 閳ユ笅n word only.閳?I talked about Barack being a person who lived his faith and did not argue his faith. I talked about Barack as a person who did not draw doctrinal lines in the sand nor consign other people to hell if they did not believe what he believed.
Out of a two-hour conversation with you about Barack閳ユ獨 spiritual journey and my protesting to you that I had not shaped him nor formed him, that I had not mentored him or made him the man he was, even though I would love to take that credit, you did not print any of that. When I told you, using one of your own Jewish stories from the Hebrew Bible as to how God asked Moses, 閳ユ凡hat is that in your hand?,閳?that Barack was like that when I met him. Barack had it 閳ユ笅n his hand.閳?Barack had in his grasp a uniqueness in terms of his spiritual development that one is hard put to find in the 21st century, and you did not print that.
As I was just starting to say a moment ago, Jodi, out of two hours of conversation I spent approximately five to seven minutes on Barack閳ユ獨 taking advice from one of his trusted campaign people and deeming it unwise to make me the media spotlight on the day of his announcing his candidacy for the Presidency and what do you print? You and your editor proceeded to present to the general public a snippet, a printed 閳ユ笩ound byte閳?and a titillating and tantalizing article about his disinviting me to the Invocation on the day of his announcing his candidacy.
I have never been exposed to that kind of duplicitous behavior before, and I want to write you publicly to let you know that I do not approve of it and will not be party to any further smearing of the name, the reputation, the integrity or the character of perhaps this nation閳ユ獨 first (and maybe even only) honest candidate offering himself for public service as the person to occupy the Oval Office.
Your editor is a sensationalist. For you to even mention that makes me doubt your credibility, and I am looking forward to see how you are going to butcher what else I had to say concerning Senator Obama閳ユ獨 閳ユ藩piritual Biography.閳?Our Conference Minister, the Reverend Jane Fisler Hoffman, a white woman who belongs to a Black church that Hannity of 閳ユ窏annity and Colmes閳?is trying to trash, set the record straight for you in terms of who I am and in terms of who we are as the church to which Barack has belonged for over twenty years.
The president of our denomination, the Reverend John Thomas, has offered to try to help you clarify in your confused head what Trinity Church is even though you spent the entire weekend with us setting me up to interview me for what turned out to be a smear of the Senator; and yet The New York Times continues to roll on making the truth what it wants to be the truth. I do not remember reading in your article that Barack had apologized for listening to that bad information and bad advice. Did I miss it? Or did your editor cut it out? Either way, you do not have to worry about hearing anything else from me for you to edit or 閳ユ笩pin閳?because you are more interested in journalism than in truth.
Forgive me for having a momentary lapse. I forgot that The New York Times was leading the bandwagon in trumpeting why it is we should have gone into an illegal war. The New York Times became George Bush and the Republican Party閳ユ獨 national 閳ユ競log.閳?The New York Times played a role in the outing of Valerie Plame. I do not know why I thought The New York Times had actually repented and was going to exhibit a different kind of behavior.
Maybe it was my faith in the Jewish Holy Day of Roshashana. Maybe it was my being caught up in the euphoria of the Season of Lent; but whatever it is or was, I was sadly mistaken. There is no repentance on the part of The New York Times. There is no integrity when it comes to The Times. You should do well with that paper, Jodi. You looked me straight in my face and told me a lie!
Sincerely and respectfully yours,
Reverend Jeremiah A. Wright, Jr. ,
Senior Pastor
Trinity United Church of Christ

"If Obama once was a Muslim, he is now what Islamic law calls a murtadd (apostate), an ex-Muslim converted to another religion who must be executedInterviews with dozens of former classmates, teachers, neighbors and friends show that Obama was not a regular practicing Muslim when he was in Indonesia閳?閳?implying he was an irregularly practicing Muslim.
